I don’t want to admit it but I have been l i v i n g for Saturdays. It’s no secret that David and I keep busy and the weekend is no exception. Lately I have been counting down the days, hours, and minutes to picking up Grace from school (daycare). Don’t get me wrong the weekdays are fine but a whole day together is a treat.
We recently went to Grace Street Coffee in Georgetown and loved it. If you are a coffee lover (like myself) you gotta check it out. Grace Street is fairly new to the neighborhood. They roast their coffee beans on on site and rotate their menu seasonally. The large warehouse like feel is refreshing. Instead of having to hunt down a seat there is ample seating and we were even able to let Grace roam around a bit.
Not only is there coffee but SUNdeVICH has set up their third location in DC. Under the same roof as Grace Street you can grab one of their killer sandwiches. I have been a fan for awhile and use to find any excuse to grab a sandwich when around the Convention Center. If you haven’t tried one you are seriously missing out. They are a) unique b) made with locally sourced produce c) delicious d) large enough to split or save for later. Ugh- I’m craving one now!
Happy Wednesday friends. If you don’t have plans this weekend I highly suggest Grace Street and SUNdeVICH.
